GET ABLE exists to provide HANDLE therapy in southern California.
Therefore the prerequisite for any clinician, regardless of previous
professional roles, is a certificate from The HANDLE Institute attesting to the
person's having completed all requirements for the competence-
based credential as a Certified HANDLE Practitioner .  Additionally, GET
ABLE requires each Practitioner to maintain on-going affiliation with the
Institute.

An Intern intending to comply with the standards established for that
certification may live in southern California.  If so, GET ABLE will arrange
supervised experience appropriate to the level of competence of that Intern.
Therefore, a client may anticipate that a HANDLE Intern will participate in
aspects of or all of a clinic visit.  If for some reason a client insists that no
intern participate, that will be honored.
